I have, and now I know I suck at competitive Pokemon after losing 5 consecutive battles. 
Has anyone tried battle spot yet?

I have no clue what it is so I never turned it on.
Some random French person tried it and challenged me apparently, but I kicked his ass since he had Lv. 50-70 Pokemon and all of mine are 90-100.

Um I don't think we are all talking about the same thing.
In Battle Spot all your Pokemon are set to their current level, unless they are above Level 50.

I've played it many time before and won half my battles.
...although during half the battles I lost, I was up against some of the toughest Pokémon around.
