Good anime with bad endings

Dragonball GT had the worst ending. It was Goku basically defeating Omega Shenron, a horrible clip show that didn't even show past major characters from the original or Z (Like Vegeta or Majin Buu), and then Goku just mindlessly getting on his Flying Nimbus and saying "Farewell friends!" Bullshit.

Not that I've seen much anime, I agree that GT had the absolute worst ending to it.
 
Instead of GT the DBZ series should have continued from the Buu Saga and focused more on the new generation on Z Fighters like Videl and Gohan.


Anyway Birdie The Mighty. It was fantastic and the entire season this love interest was built up and it was amazing, just for the last episode to come where she is stricken with amnesia remembers nothing of what happened the course of the show and moves away not to be mentioned again. They just tossed one of the major characters away like she meant nothing. I consider the ending non cannon and just think she and the boy lived happily ever after after the events of the show. :/
 
Videl, Goten, Gohan, Trunks, Pan, and Uub would have made a nice new generation of Z Warriors. But nope, instead we get a generic Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. (even though their respectable forefathers are three generations behind) and a rushed ending. I would loved to have seen more of Uub and Pan.
