Glacier Summer Contests

Most of the team contests we have had are really difficult to do as a team. and a lot of these art ones are also unfair to those who do not have the right programs. I have the Icicle Hunt (which will be soon) and a Mario Party Quiz planned, but I will need more.

So I'm asking you guys to share any team activities or contests Ideas that will work with everyone having a part in that contests. Thanks.

Hmm. Well, the ones you stated will be a lot of fun.

What about the post of the week, highest poster of the week, or something like that? You said those earlier...plus arcade...

What about quizzes for each Mario Party? Plus a quiz about Mario Party in general?

And bear in mind I'm inactive on the last week of July.

you can make some kind of forum game about this.

Maybe something related to an Arcade Game or count how many Awards there are total.

I want the contests to be more MP-related. The MP quiz that VSM said is a great idea I think.
A contest about making a story of a Mario Party game is good too.
Or maybe a new forum game related to the GS contests.

Create A New Mario Character for this week's individual contest could be nice.

I think that with Individual Contests, there should be two weeks' worth of time. One, focusing on Team Contests draw out our time, often not letting us finish our Individual Contest. Two, Individual Contests can be more specialised, and that sort of specialisation will need a longer time to be 'perfect'. Besides, we all like having more time, right?

Ideas: Minigame creation (Team or Solo) - create a working minigame (w/out LAN, that's too difficult)
Arcade Blitz (Team) - Marioguy's suggestion, but team-based
Decathlon (Solo) - 10 days, 3 shots max at each new minigame. Top scorer wins overall.

EDIT:
A weird but productive Team Contest could be "Design a GS Contest". You'll need to provide info about the contest, examples of what needs to be done, how the contest should go ahead, and so on.
