Love her? Hate her? Just didn't care?

Very annoying at times (I know about my hearts and how do you know about the batteries??), but I like her character and the way she is portrayed without much of a personality. The ending really touched me with the whole "May we meet again in another life...". When she said that, I quickly flashbacked to OoT, WW, TP, AttP and all their master sword scenes. I still get chills thinking about it.

Fi is all right, she's fine for a companion. Her services are useful in a way, and can help you remember objectives you've completed. "May we meet again in another life." Does this mean she was within the Master Sword in future titles, just didn't appear, considering Skyward Sword was the first game chronically? Or does that mean she will appear again in the future? Same goes for Midna, too.

Haven't reached the ending so cannot comment about that.

As SZ said, annoying regarding life depletion and batteries. I never really got to use the assistance functions as much as I would have , but in terms of her character I think it's good to portray her as an agent of Hylia with no real emotional edge as such.

I always assume her name is based of Phi, the Golden Ratio (don't think it is in canon)

Other than annoying you about hearts, she's fine. I kinda like that she had a role in the main story other than giving advices.

@Vip - She's in the Master Sword. Perhaps she's put into a permanent sleep when the Master Sword is sealed.

She's a cool character. Yes she is annoying when you're about to die, but very usefull in other parts of the game. I like how she looks. Overall she's cool. At the start I thought she was useless, but playing the game, I kinda got attached to her, more than Navi or Midna. =P
