Favourite Final Fantasy Game?

What is your favourite FF game and why.

Mine would have to be Final Fantasy 12 partly bacause it's either that or FF13 and party because I liked the idea of not having turn based combat and instead having that battle gauge thing because I'm not too fond of the rediculously confusing turn based JRPGs.

My personal favorite is 8 with Squall and Laguna. I liked the double storylines and the battle system was the most comfortable imo.

@Espeon I haven't seen 12 or 13's battle system, but it sounds like you would like VI then too. Cause it sounds the same.

It's a tie between 2 and 6 for me. If I could actually beat 10, that would probably be up there, but I really liked VI and II when I initially played them (couldn't put them down unless I got stuck for a few days or something).

Out of the few I own I'd also have to say XII. I liked the new battle system! Or maybe X, as I love the overall setting of it (beaches and that stuff).

Dissidia Final Fantasy, soon to be replaced with Duodecim though, but I was entertained by the battle system. The new Assist system in Duodecim is hot beans.

Haven't played much FF games so all I can really say is X. *Need to get started on VI-IV*
