I think out of all of them, MGS3 has to be my favorite. I loved the survival aspects of it and the bosses were all really good. Except for The Fear, he was annoying.

Damn, I always toss MGS and MGS3 around. It's hard to pick a favorite. Hmm...I'd probably go with MGS3 as well because of the survival and camouflage aspects, along with the CQC and boss battles (The End and The Boss), though I love MGS's bosses more. The nostalgia factor with MGS is the highest for me though since I've been playing it over and over since its initial release.
I've actually only played MG2 Solid Snake and a bit of MG (the original, MSX version, not the NES one) and I definitely have to give it to the sequel. Alert scenes are intense as hell when you're not prepared with a silenced pistol or just don't know what weapon to use xD
