The second course of Star Cup in Mario Kart 8. Dolphin Shoals is an underwater course that features dolphins and a Mega Unagi, a large red eel. Perform tricks with the dolphins and make your way through an underwater cave filled with pipes. This course is also notable for being the first and only course in Mario Kart that you start underwater.

This course was okay, but I didn't really like it much, as it's mostly underwater. I keep having so much trouble in this course on 150cc Grand Prix in Single Player, when attempting to get three stars. I was surprised that I was able to do it with ease for only one try in Mirror Cup. The one pro I'll give on this course is that there's a shortcut by going through the blue pipe on the far right, which helps a bit.
