It'd be cool if Amiibo's became DLC. So instead of downloading a code on the eShop, you could buy an Amiibo which represents the DLC and you connect it to the Wii U and the DLC data on the Amiibo transfers and you get the DLC. It'd be a interesting spin on DLC.

EDIT: Looked this up and it's real. Hopefully the next DLC will introduce a stadium map which features advertisements for McDonalds and Cola Cola.
