Dec 4 - Create a New Rank

Objective: Time to create new member ranks! If you could add a new rank what would it be? The rank should relate to Mario Party or Mario in some way and be as creative as you can!  Make sure to include the name of the rank, the required posts (or other requirement) to achieve the rank, and a description as to why you picked the rank, how it relates to Mario Party or Mario (if it isn't obvious), and any other important information. An image is not required but would definitely help! Any form of entry is allowed. You can create an image or art, a simple description, a video, etc. Anything can be submitted and counted for points as long as some effort is clearly put into your submission.

Discription: Diddy Kong is one of the Kongs of the Donkey Kong family. He's been in the Mario series since Toadstool Tour, and has even appeared in Mario Party DS and Mario Party 9. He needs your help in Mario Party DS and wants to have fun with you playing his special mini-game in Mario Party 9.

Description : Mr. Blizzards are snowball-throwing snowmen that have been around since Super Mario 64. They have appeared in multiple snow-based boards and minigames throughout the Mario Party series, doing their usuall snowball-chucking ways to help make the party even cooler than before!

Ok so here's the rank I was thinking of (I was hesitating between two in fact...): Koopa Kid rank at
(12, 500 posts)

Description of the character: Koopa Kid is a Mario Party exclusive character that appears as a playable character on Maro Party 5 and 6 and as a space on Mario Party 7. He looks a lot like Bowser but isn't totally related with him though.

Oh and yeah, I think it was a really good idea to have something like the forum, so I did approximatively like the forum, only thing I wasn't able to made is the font, actually, seems really nice that way haha... I used to get another idea but I don't know if I was totally wanting to post it though. But I can still show it:

It would be totally a rank I would like having for myself, personally.

Toadette first appeared in Mario Kart: Double-Dash and since then has been participating in numerous events such as Mario Party, baseball, dancing, and mahjong. She is shown to have good relations with Mario, Toad, Peach, Toadsworth, Birdo, Noki, and even Wario.

Bowser's been in the series since the near beginning. He's the baddest of the bad, usually being the main antagonist of main Mario and Mario Party games. He may look slow and dim-witted, but that won't stop his flame breath from cooking you up!

Time for me to go unconventional again with my set of Koopaling ranks. They would be awarded (and reassigned if deemed necessary) every month to those members who are relatively active and have at least 500 posts, but also qualify for the following criteria:

Larry - being one who tries to win with whatever means possible - befitting of Cheatsy, the wielder of this rank is participating in the most activities at date of selection.

Morton - sometimes called Big Mouth, this rank is bestowed on the member with the highest post per month count. All posts are considered, not just countable ones.

Wendy - laced with fashionable accessories, the member who adorns the name of Wendy has the most flamboyant profile, avatar and signature as determined by popular vote.

Iggy - with glasses belying a sense of hyperactivity, this rank is given to the one who reports the most forum errors or questionable posts in the month.

Roy - like any chill guy, the Roy awardee has the highest online time/posts made ratio in a month. That means less posting but more online time, but you gotta be active. Being laid back ain't a bad thing sometimes.

Lemmy - showing the innocence of a member with a penchant for fun, by tossing this rank about in your hands, you have shown that you're the most fun to have been around this month, again decided by your peers.

Ludwig - grandness always being appopriate for those with prestige and culture, this rank is befitting of the one who makes the most quality posts in sub-boards of the General forums. (so TV, Books, Tech etc.)

As per my Brighton/Twila ranks last year, these override anything but Staff positions. They'd be coveted ranks but also the change every month means a new member can usurp the title. Rivalries will break out, lol.



(on a side note, I've always wondered that Bowser could be done as a Banned rank lol. Maybe Ztar would be better...)

Rank: Piranha Plant
Posts required: 3000
Description: Piranha Plants will usually snack on anyone who disturbs it. However, in Mario Party 3, it was a Duel Battle partner with the strongest attack power (not counting Thwomp, since he can't touch a player ) and in Mario Party DS, it was a boss. In Mario Party 5-7, the unfortunate player to land on this space loses 1/2 of their coins.

And I also made a new member rank.  It is Ninjij.  Ninji has gained popularity since he was put in Paper Mario Sticker Star, and has appeared in Mario Party Advance, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario World.  It requires that the user post 10,000.  There is also a special rule that the user that gets the Ninji rank has to be very secretive, and comes on only for a few minutes every day.  Also if you don't like the colour background, or the special rule feel free to change it to your liking.

Description: DK is a simian that protects his from intruders such as King K. Rool. He was playable from Mario Party 1-4, and on 5 he has his own space and mini-games. He is a ally of Mario and co. and usually assist them whenever they need it. He is very fast despite his appearances.

Not much is known about Ballyhoo though.

Description: A member of the Kong family who is known for his ability to stay cool no matter what (see Mario Super Sluggers when he rides up to the plate on a surfboard). Funky Kong has appeared twice in the Mario series as a playable character in Mario Kart Wii and Mario Super Sluggers.

15. Metal Mario

A powerful form of Mario coated with a metal sheen. There have been sightings of it with the real Mario around, implying the possibility that there is an entirely separate being taking the title of Metal Mario. This being is depicted as though it were a mechanical doppelganger of Mario's, acting as a powerful foe to many.

(The idea is that it is supposed to be the rank right after the Mario rank, so it would make sense if you got a powered up version of him. But I also concern the idea that Metal Mario can be seen as an entirely different character unique to Mario, which makes him a more interesting character).

The most famous damsel in distress has been around since the beginning of the Super Mario series. The one and only princess of the Mushroom Kingdom cares about the well being of her people more than anything else. Be careful though, she isn't just a dainty princess, she knows how to bring it on as shown in her appearances in many of the sporting games.


Peach would be the only 4 star pink character because it is her signature color. It looks like it could be one of the ranks.

Description- Gooper Blooper is the king of all bloopers, which is my favourite enemy. The first time I ever saw him was in Super Mario Sunshine GCN. It was really funny when he pooped on Mario!! Lol!  :-D I mostly enjoy seeing him in Paper Mario N64.

The Tom-boy princess herself is the ruler of Sarasaland. Her first appearence was Super Mario Land in 1989 on the GameBoy, as of late, she has appeared in many spin-off games and many people would consider her to be a pretty solid player in the Mario series.
