Extra Objective: Create a new topic about a game that came out before the year 2000 for an extra G5!

I'll go off and talk about my Mario Party 6 experience on Faire Square (which everyone has probably done before)

Usually what I do on this board - take full control of the center area so that only I can get the stars with no problems! I got so many yellow orbs throughout that game. I'd also usually land on the ? spaces and end off earning from them (except the top one). Near the end, I'd get Golden Mushrooms each turn so I could easily dash around the center and buy even more than 5 stars each turn. This was especially awesome when the stars cost about 5 coins each turn! And with all the coins I had earn from minigames and events, wow, I was always rich! The CPU's only were about to buy about 3-7 stars within the entire game while I had about 70-ish (Don't remember really). Now why was this so awesome when something like this was easily done against CPU's? All the CPU's had been set to the Brutal difficulty for the entire game! I'd call that total domination of a game there! ;D

I remember when Momma Dukes was playing Mario Party 7 and she was Yoshi team with Brutal Computer Daisy
She used a Super Shroom Orb and her and Daisy rolled 6 3's ALTOGETHER (Mom 3 3's Daisy 3 3's)
My damn mouth dropped
That lucky ass heffer got 300 coins for that on top of her 436 coins she had
It was on Pagoda Peak

I'll talk about my experience from a place that has not really to do with winter but more with magma,
Magma Mines in MP9:

I played with my sister and another CPU(I think it was Magikoopa).
At first we were very slow, going only three or four spaces forward.
When we reached the mid-boss and the magma came by, we still were very slow.
The whole game we got hit by the magma almost every round.
But the funny thing is only Magikoopa got hit.
My sister and I had our mini stars and won with ease.
I think we both had around 100 stars but I'm sure it was a draw at the end.

Ok, this one time I was playing Mario Party on DK's Jungle Adventure. I pretty sure I was playing with my sister and my father once. That one time, I was in the lead and got a Star, and the next thing you know, I had to give a Star to my sister. I was so angry at the result and shut off the game out of my anger. I don't remember who was playing the Chance Time, but I'm sure I was Mario with my father being Luigi and my sister being Yoshi. Gah, back then, I was so angry. But this was like in 1998 or 1999.

Topic.

Definitely has to be when Luigi got crushed every turn in Whomp Stomp (MP9).

I know I said this a few times before, but my best Mario Party experience was getting 170 stars in Mario Party 6 (was in Team Battle Mode) on Faire Square. I had to take pictures. XD
That was the best game of Mario Party 6 I've had in my whole life and just contributed even more to why I love Mario Party 6 so much.
I'm Yoshi, and all CPUs were set to Brutal.

My favourite moment for a Mario Party was when I got Mario Party 2.  That game had it all from costumes to cool minigames, and cool boards(one of which was my all time favourite because of a certain train ;) ).  When I discovered the minigame coaster I thought that this was going to be fun[to play certain minigames in succession].  Unluckily for me, some of these minigames were dreadful for me(I'm looking at you Crane Game).  I beat the easy mode, so I thought I would try the normal mode(even tougher CPUs, and more minigames).  After failing this about 3 times, and almost giving up, I decided to give it one last shot, which in the end I beat the normal mode.  Then I saw that the hard mode was unlocked.  I knew that this was going to be a tricky thing to complete, but I really wanted to complete the minigame coaster, so I tried to beat the hard mode.  After failing a bunch more times, I decided that I needed a rest from the minigame coaster, so I played a different game(probably Star Fox, or Smash bros, or another gamecube/wii game).  I knew that my life wouldn't be complete without beating the minigame coaster, so after a while I decided to immerse myself in the Mario Party experience once again.  After a few more fails, and deaths I tried my hardest and beat the hard mode.  After this I almost cried due to happiness.  Woody the tree gave me an all new minigame(which to be honest I don't play all that often), but every once in a while, I decide to sit down with my younger sister, and maybe even my dad and play Mario Party 2(although every once in a while, we play something different, or a newer/older Mario Party).

Ok let's say one of mine. It's maybe not the most impressive, but I think it's still good enough, at least for me. Ok so basically, I was playing Mario Party 6 on Fair Square (50 turns). I was with three brutal computers. At this specific turn it was night (last night turn) and the stars were at 5 coins. Two of the computers actually landed on a duel space to challenge me, both of these lost their 40 coins, making me won 80 of them. At my turn, since I was in the middle and was having around 150 coins, I decide to use my Super Shroom orb, wishing to have some good numbers on the dice block, I remembered having get 10,10,8, which is 28. I was at one space of the place where you get stars, so I bought 5, I was able to make the entire turn when spending 10 coins to be able to pass the Whomp, then returned back once more to be able to get another 5 stars, making myself won 10 stars and over 80 coins in all. Yeah, surely not the most impressive, but I did like this. Being lucky with the dice rolls and having a good amount coins is a good thing! (I'm mostly pround because of the duel victories because usually I always finish losing some of these and the good dice rolls really surprised me too.)

This is probably a bug/glitch but I was playing as Luigi in 4-1 and I was going to climb a vine to the warp zone that takes you to worlds 6, 7 and 8 and halfway up the vine it stuck there and stayed until the time ran out.
Yes this is my favourite Maruo moment.

Doesn't have to be Mario Party.

ROFLMAO, VIP, DK's Jungle Parkway is from Mario Kart 64. XD
It's DK's Jungle Adventure.

I remember one time I was playing Mario Party 3 with all Super Hard computers (Wario, Daisy, Waluigi) on Deep Bloober Sea 25 turn game. I was losing badly, I didn't do well in Mini-Games, Battle Mini-Games I kept losing, Chance Time screwed me up, and GameGuy screwed me up twice...

I was about to give up hope, until we got to the last 5 turns, and literally everything turned around. Everyone had like 4 stars and 54+ Coins I believe, I had 1 Star and 20 Coins. I landed on GameGuy for the third time, it was Game Guy Roulette, I chose the Shy Guy... and what do you know, I won!

I got 999 Coins as a result. I bought an Item Bag with 2 Magic Lamps and a Boo Bell (ironic). I used them in the next few turns, and ended up getting +3 Stars last minute. In the end, I won with 6 Stars (Won Coin and Green Star) and 987 Coins I think. The point was, I was losing so badly... and it wasn't just luck that changed things around, it was my own actions. I felt very accomplished after. :D

Hmm... There aren't many special Mario Party memories I can remember. Though, my favourite memory was watching Daisy slap Bowser in MP3. :p On the Mario Party 2 character selection screen, I used to force the characters to run for ages. It was especially funny watching Wario trying to keep up with the others. :p Probably one of my best moments though was beating the 3 Koopa Kids in just 2 turns on Mario Party 5 Rainbow Dream on hard difficulty.

Other than Mario Party:
Hosting the Mario Kart Wii community night was also really fun. Though, I was pretty terrible that day (probably because I'm terrible if there's any hacker in a room *cough* Jinx) :p. I then went on to get a VR rating of 9767 on Custom tracks, with the Gold Wii Wheel using Rosalina. I'm quite proud of that. :D

Another achievement I'm proud of was getting 14th in the world in 4x100m freestyle in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. This was 1 month after it's release date and I spent only 3 hours on it. I don't know what position I'm in now, but I'm probably not even in the top 50. :p

Most peoples stories involve joy... mine however involves the opposite.

I had just gotten Mario Party 9 in the morning at the local Target. I was in another city visiting my grandparents and because we had a Wii down there I thought we would play a good ol' party game. After waiting 2 long hours to play due to running errands, I popped the disc in and called my cousins over, the only other people that played games with me. We were impressed right off the bat with the nice colors and quality everything had. Everything was normal, I was Koopa, and the other players were Peach, Daisy and Mario. We started with the basic course Toad's Road, learning the simple controls and new play style. After a good 3 turns everybody began to wonder where the minigames were... then it happened. I remember in vivid detail to this day Peach had picked up a couple of ministars and had landed right at the first VS. minigame there was on the board. The payout system seemed cool and I was thinking to myself I can't wait to win. Minigame select screen comes up, my cousin closes her eyes, points to the screen and clicks on Upward Mobility unknowingly. A fairly simple game in my mind but in the mind of a 6 year old, it was a formidable opponent. The game started fine with myself finishing first and Peach finishing second. We were cheering the other two on... the only problem was, they were still stuck at the bottom. I helped one of them up to the checkpoint and her spirits were lifted for a split second before havoc decided to make its appearance. She declared stubbornly that I am not doing anything until Mario gets up here so we can win together. I then replied you can't win together its a game, lets finish this so we can move on. My sincere words had the opposite effect. She started bawling and throwing a temper tantrum. She threw her remote stormed out of the room, making my other cousin cry. He was scared. Everything was fine then, my brother would take her spot and we would just continue until the cousin that quit said she had forgotten something. She stormed back into the room, looked around and then settled in a corner, where the power outlet to the Wii was. We had just finished and before I could see my 5 ministar animation she unplugged it grinning. She had ruined the game we were waiting for and there was no time to start again, we had to leave. Satisfied she once again stormed out of the room, with a little hop in her step signaling her victory. She had made me so made that day. I wasn't able to play one whole game because of the brattiness she has.

That was a really long story, but thats the best one I have.

EDIT: Topic made on Mappy +5g

My favorite experience was that in Mario Party 3, I enjoyed playing with the computer players in Story Mode. I even finished the Story Mode on Super Hard difficulty setting with all characters with an "S" rank for everything. It feels great to have this game in the house. In Mario Party 2, I finished the Mini-Game Coaster mode with 42 minigames won with no lives lost. I even maxed out the Coin bank at 99,999 coins! In Mario Party 6, I won 100 minigames in a row in Endurance Alley using only 5 Mini-games: Black Hole Boogie, T Minus Five, Crate and Peril, Surge and Destroy, and Mowtown.

I created a new topic on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for an extra +G5.
