This topic describes the mini-game types in Crash Bash
Ballistix: 4 Characters in an arena reflect balls into enemy goals. Each player starts with 15 lives and last man standing wins. Each players saucer has a special extra kick that make deflecting harder. Special occurances in stages include N-Gin attacks and tilted stages.
Polar Push: The four players get on Polar Bears and attempt to push opponetns off an iceberg and into the ice water. A special light beam grants power-ups ans power-downs. Stage events include Tossing bombs to kill polar bears and Uka Uka melting the ice.
Crate Crush: 4 players grab and throw or kick crates into others. Crates range from stone to TNT to Nitro. Each player starts with a health bar which causes to player to die if fully red. Wumpa fruits can be picked up to regain health. Stage events include floor tiles being destroyed after "explosive crates" land on them and powerup crates grant you bonus.
Pogo Panic: 4 players get on pogo sticks, or pogo variants, and paint the stage in their color. Hitting a purple crate banks points and special powerups help stun opponets and paint distant spaces. 1 stage has no crates, instead you make shapes to score points. Stage events include Ripper Roo turning some spaces into Nitro crates. (Typical of Ripper.)
I forget the name of these next one, but can give you a description anyway.
Tank Game: Board a tank and destroy the other 3 tanks. The tanks have special abilities. The bandicoots just shot fireballs, the doctors shoot beams that go long distances, Tiny and Koala fire spike balls that deal lots of damage, and Dingo and Rilla can shoot twice. Tanks also drop mins that hit in vertical and horizontal directions. (No tank is safe from mines) Once characters bars hit red, they are out. Stage events include attacks from an Idol.
Crash Dash: Characters board a vehicle or soemtimes an animal to race on a circle track. The first to complete a set # of laps wins. Players collect Wumpa Fruit for speed boosts and missles to launch at opponents. If you fall off you are teleported back on the track but can be easily knocked off by a passing racer. Stage events include hurdles shooting out that you must jump over.
Medievl Mayhem: And this is hardest to explain because the events are different. From popping ballons in a clock tower to whacking things with mallets. Stage events include turning all balloons into your color.
