There are 4 Kingdoms. Each kingdom is situated in one of the corners of the map. Each kingdom has a castle that they must protect. The main objective of the game is to conquer the other kingdoms by entering their territory and infiltrating their castle.
Each kingdom has a territory that surrounds their castle. Each territory has 3 main spaces and 5 minor spaces. A main space would be considered a city or town where you have the option to do multiple things. A minor space would be considered a village or small town, a location (does not have to be inhabited), and just about anything else. There are many different spaces scattered throughout the World Map that are not occupied or under the control of a kingdom. In order to claim a space that is not under the control of another kingoom (or outside a kingdom's territory) is to simply land on that space and claim it as your own. If someone or another group is occuping that space they will have the option to just visit, negotiate a deal in order to take the space, or begin a battle.
Conquering spaces will grow your kingdom and territory. When you negotiate a deal for space, you lose something of yours but you are garunteed the spot. If a battle takes place for a space, you will have the chance of losing less for the space (in terms of players fighting) but it is also possible to lose more. You also have the chance of losing all together and getting nothing.
When a player encounters another player on a space, they begin a battle. The player who ran into the other player goes first. You have 4 options to choose from : Attack, Defense, Item, or Special. Items are obtained on other spaces or through the Shop and can be used during battle. The Special is obtained in a few select secret spaces on the map. This what is available to everyone at the beginning of the game :
Each player has 100HP and 30FP. These can be upgraded as the game goes on. Players also have a limited amount of FP to use on certain moves.

Each kingdom has 3/4 Forum members and each one has 3 of their own players. Meaning a team of 4 members would have 12 players.
Each team gets 100 coins to start off with but coins can be obtained when landing on different spaces, in battle, and in negotiations. Coins are used to buy items and in negotiations. Items can be bought at any time. These are the items, their price and what they do :
Mushroom : Heal 10 HP
Triple Mushrooms : Heal 30 HP
Golden Mushroom : Heal 50 HP
Maxim Tomato : Heal 100 HP
Green Potion : Restore 6 FP
Blue Potion : Restore 14 FP
Grandma's Soup : Restore 30 FP
Energy Tank : Restore 60 FP
Rock Mushroom : Roll into all the other players [5HP D each]
Fireball : Burn one other player [5HP D for 1 turn]
Fire Flower : Burn one other player [5HP D for 3 turns]
Ice Flower : Freeze the other player for one turn
Ice Arrow : Freeze all other players for one turn [5HP D each]
Light Arrow : Hit all other players [20HP D each]
Phazon : All other playes get hit [2HP D + 2HP D every turn for each]
Yo-Yo : Knock a player unconsious for 2 turns
Fairy Ocarina : Play a melody that creates a storm that does not allow any item use from the other team for 1 turn.
P. E. D. Suit : Protection against any move for 1 turn (Does not work on Special Items)
Rainbow Star : Protection against any move for 2 turns (Does not work on Special Items)
Magic Armor : Protection against any move for 3 turns (Does not work on Special Items)
1-up Mushroom : Revive a player that died that day
Warp Pipe : Move back to a space you have previously visited. You can only move to a space that is 3 spaces away from your current spot.
Double Clawshot : Move two spots in one day.
There are many other items found in other spaces that are not found in the Shop. There are also the more difficult to find Special Items that are found in a few spaces on the map are are very powerful.
Each day (real life), each team gets to move forward one space. You may also go back but you are very much less likely to find anything.
A quick rundown of what you will be doing everyday
1. Decide with your team which direction and space you want to move to.
2. If a battle begins, fight in a turnbased battle.
3. You also have the option of trying a riddle/puzzle that might get you items, coins, etc. on the different spaces.
