Luigi:
Mario's younger Brother. Luigi doesn't really do as much as Mario does. He has fears of many things and often gets into Bad Luck. First appeared in Mario Brothers while helping Mario and made a recent appearence in Super Mario Galaxy as a playable character after you beat the Game with Mario.
Fun Facts: He has a Secret Diary in the Basement of his house. He has a twin in another World.
Wario:
Wario is a character that is often Grumpy. He's a rival of Mario. He is really powerful though Karma does affect him. He loves to be rich. First appeared in Super Mario Land 3 as the main character. Recent appeared in Warioware Smooth Moves as one of the charcater. He'll be playabe in Warioland Shake It!
Fun Facts: He mostly has his classic costume like Mario except Yellow and Purple. Then in the Warioware, he changed to some Blue Vest. He can change into different forms depending on what hits him.
Waluigi:
Waluigi is a Friend of Wario and a rival of LUigi. Unlike Wario, he is weak and skinny but very fexible. First appeared in Mario Tennis as one of the playabe characters. Recently appeared as another playabe character in Mario Party DS.
Fun Fact: He's an Assist Trophy in SSBB. His symbol in his hat is like Luigi's L but upside down.

He was first playable in Donkey Kong Country where he must stop King K Rool. Recently playable in Junglebeat.
Fun Fact: He appears as a MP space in Mario Parties 5-8. His final Smash in Brawl summons some Bongos like from Junglebeat.
