Like other game Yoshi still green. When play game choose character in party mode. a Press button to change color of Toad and Yoshi. Toadette and Birdo cannot change color because partner part. After press character, change color before choose level. For Toad and Yoshi only. Can choose same character only Toad and Yoshi is allow same with diff color. Like do in Mario sport mix you choose color of Toad and Yoshi.

No. It's not necessary for them to be changed. Keep them original. Changing colors should only be in sports, such as Mario Super Sluggers and Mario Sports Mix.
Toad and Yoshi are the originals, changing color would make them look generic TBH...

I wouldn't mind an alternate color/costume feature.
Call that alt out. Keep the same colored Toad and Yoshi.
