Candy: Do you like the idea of changing orbs/items to candy?

Do you like that they changed items/orbs to candy? In my opinion I wish that they would just keep it with items or orbs. I like items because they just come as themselves. Orbs are O.K. and I haven`t played with them but I`ve seen pics of them. Call me crazy but it seems kinda weird that players eat their items.

Honestly, I didn't like the candies, they are my least favorite next to capsules.  I thought that they were overpowered and a downgrade from orbs. 

My favorite item system would have to be Mario Party 3 and DS because DS utilizes the best part of items and orbs with hexes.  And Mario Party 3 wins because of the massive variety and the rare items.

I also wish the genie would come back.
 
Candy idea was an epic failure.  <_<  All it was is just a few power-ups..  with designs of the character when in use.  Nothing really great about it.

The orbs was the best thing since the GCN series.  The capsules were lame..  and the idea of Mega/Mini Mushrooms was too chaotic.

The original items was the best of the best, but oh well.  =/

Yea, I have it as Original Items > Orbs > Capsules > Whatever MP4 had > Hexes from MPDS > Candy

I mean in all seriousness what was the target age group the devs were looking for in this game?
 
Candy was horrible since it was user-affecting only, non-tactical, and childish. Not to mention the transformations (except the Bitsize Candy and Bullet Candy) were stupid.

I can't agree with anyone who says capsules were lamer than orbs, since they're essentially the same thing except for self-use charge. (And that's not lame, just tactical).

IMO I liked orbs better over items, while Hexes were the inverse of Candy by being throw-only.

Mario Party 4 had items, they were just almost all new items.

Items > Orbs > MPDS > MP4 > Candy > Capsules

Items from MP3 were the best, nuff' said; They were definitely made well.
Orbs is second cuz the system itself was actually well developed, especially MP7's.
MPDS' item system is here mainly cuz the lack of items. But still, the hexes were good, and some were like MP7's Orbs.
Candy was bad, yes, but I actually liked some of the items, like the Bitsize Candy, the Bat Candy, etc.
MP4 goes this low cuz they ruined MP3's item system, and decided to make things mainly "Mega/Mini Mushrooms". It was just...
No offense to anyone, but Capsules were absolutely dreadful. It was confusing making the only way to use items on yourself, is by paying for it, and most of the capsules weren't even good.
