With 23 characters out of the way, we have one more character left. This character was an old friend of the past that after many years of disappearance, finally returns to the crew. This character is just so cute, that she puts Roll, Chen, and even Jigglypuff to shame. This character is just so great in racing that she holds one of the world records. This character leaves a lasting impression in the both of us.

Toadette. OK, right now a lot of you may be thinking "What the heck?" Well, that's good because Toadette is hands-down my favorite MKW character ever. In the years that MKW has been around, I feel that no single character has appealed to me more than this Toad girl. Allow me to explain what I mean. First let's look at her design, and man does she look cute. In fact, there are very few characters that I feel have a cuter appearance. Also, her voice. Well, it isn't Cirno, but it still sounds like the cute girl that she is. Next off is her stats, and they are just incredible, boosting speed and offroad, making her the best character to travel offroad with. In fact, she has the world record in Sherbet Land! The last reason that I like her so much is that I feel sympathetic towards her rather dark history. She was very popular during the GCN era, but slowly faded when the DS came out. She was even pushed further during the Wii era, her last appearance being in 2008 in Mario Super Sluggers. Toadette fans became concerned as the pink mushroom girl began to disappear again, being absent in spin-off titles such as the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games series, Mario Sports Mix, and future Mario Party and Mario Kart titles. What was odd about Toadette’s disappearance was that after Super Mario Sluggers, Toadette was never again mentioned, not by name, not even by a cameo. It was like she died and nobody wanted to talk about it. But then, a light shone in the dark abyss, and Toadette is revived for MK8, for all of her fans to regain hope. It can definitely be said that her legacy still lives on in the hearts of her fans, and that is why Toadette is my favorite MKW character of all time, because of her great appearance, style, and personality, incredible stats and her lasting impression.
"The BEST Mario character in the history of forever"; the one and only, Toadette. And I agree on what Jinx has put down on EVERYTHING he says about this cutie! She debuted in Mario Kart Double Dash nearly 10 years ago, and yet again she is a VERY POPULAR character, unlike Yoshi. She is very clever at Off-road, and not to mention her Speed; So fast! I just make myself lose to her by making her win a race and me coming in 6th-11th, which made me laugh as either Wario or Bowser. After last seen in Mario Super Sluggers on August 25, 2008, most of us are not surprised that the developers will not add her or replace her with garbage-like newcomers in future spinoffs, such as Mario Kart 7, Mario Sports Mix, Mario Party 9, Mario Tennis Open, etc. (and the list keeps going on and on and on... like she's never coming back) Until the Nintendo Direct broadcast on June 11, 2013 featuring Mario Kart 8; after SuperZambezi proved to me that Toadette's back, everyone on MPL was celebrating, while I was screaming and shoved an ice sculpture of myself to the ground (where it shattered) after 1,752 days of unheard news. THAT CONVICTED ME TO PRISON! I really loved her personality, traits, and her adorable appearances as one notable Toad girl. The best Mario character of all time; Give it up for Toadette!! I can't stand the attention!!!

Congratulations on being #1 Toadette(I'm ending this sentence with a period for a reason). As my name implies, I had a lot of exposure and I enjoyed every minute of it!  In Double Dash, she and Toad were my favorite characters to use in races, period. To this day, I still use her in a lot of tournaments. Even if just before the Mirror All Cup Tour, she was demoted to merely my "Favorite/Go-to Lightweight"(It's nothing personal, I just found someone else.), she will always hold a special place in my heart as my second favorite Mario character in the history of forever. I was among those who celebrated during the Mario Kart 8 trailer and even though I didn't play the demo as Toadette, I made a vow to someday next Spring; Why? Because she's so awesome and adorable!

And that's why I hold MKW as one of, if not my favorite online game for the Wii. The way the game is made, finishing in top positions makes me feel like I've gotten better as a racer. The way many tracks are designed, the way many characters play out, the challenges I've overcome in getting first place, it all contributes to a feeling of growth and accomplishment for me, regardless of how formulaic it is. That's a feeling few other spin-offs give me, and that's why I'll always hold this game close to my gaming life. I'm Jinx, and as far as I'm concerned, the legacy of MKW will endure for as long as gaming exists.
What a wrap for this month. I know that I've suspended myself for playing that game too long until the end of this year. I'm missing all of the fun on what I had done in the past. I usually set the Items to Frantic in Single Player VS Races; and that mode last appeared in Single Player on Mario Kart Wii since then. I never go online with that game due to cheaters, I already did my own time nearly four years ago. And I expect the future Mario Kart 8 WILL BE EVEN BETTER THAN MARIO KART WII'S LEGACY. Until then, I'm Blue Toad, and we'll see you next month for our Top 16 Mario Kart 7 Characters.
