You missed one reason why people (like me) hate Daisy.
She was a character from one game that was brought after 10 years and is quite undeserving.
She is not good at handling bikes and karts and is not competitive when I race, the highest she has ever finished against me is 5th.
Also, I've on the Mirror Special Cup With Koopa Troopa so, yeah.
Although I agree with you that "HIIIIIIIMMMMMM DAISY!!!!!" is very annoying.

Bowser Jr is pretty average in terms of how we both think of him. He has a cute appearance, but don't get fooled. We're talking "Flandre Scarlet" cute here. For a little kid, he has high amounts of leadership and dedication. He can be a bit of a brat sometimes, but there are worse brats out there. (Freaking Patricia...) He thinks he's a bigshot, but he's far from it. On top of that, he has the absolute worst stats in MKW, only boosting offroad and miniturbo. So that means that winning with him will be very challenging. While he does have his downfalls in stats and attitude, but at least he stands out from some of the other characters in this list.
Bowser Jr. appears to be an awesome character in the past. He can be a complete rival to the baby clones on which I like; but ouch, his stats can be terrible sometimes due to his offroad and miniturbos. So that means that it can be very tough for him to win a Mario Kart Wii race. If you play as him, I suggest that you stay away from the offroad parts and shortcuts of the track and you'll be okay. Not as okay than the other characters remaining on this countdown, so keep listening!

Here we have our biggest split opinions yet. For this division, we have the recurring princess that gets kidnapped every time and gets saved by Mario, Peach. Peach is one bright, happy character with a gentile appearance. Okay, not Yuyuko gentile, but you get the point. Not to mention that she has the power of love! As for stats, Peach is a very fast character, boosting speed, acceleration, and drift. Peach in general has been a case of like-hate. Most of the haters target her seemingly powerful AI in Mario Party, her voice and her frequent kidnappings, while I personally like her bright attitude and her powers in the games she appears in. No wonder Madame and Slim hate her so much!
One of my dullest options for a basic Mario character. The spoiled princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, Peach. Known as Princess Toadstool in the past, she keeps getting kidnapped by King Bowser and always saved by either Mario or Luigi. She is a joyful and happy character most of the time. Her stats shows as a fast character, good speed and acceleration, as well as drifting just to keep the races going. 50% of fans worldwide trust her as their show stealing machine. Just a rumor that she's not everyone's favorite... See more of our list for details.

Like Koopa, I don't see anything about Dry Bones that distinguishes himself from the rest of the group. He's just a skeletal Koopa with no notable features. At least he has good stats in high acceleration and lots of miniturbo. Also he is just so plain mysterious with how he rebuilds himself when he gets shattered to pieces, which is why I think he's more interesting than some of the other enemies in the series.
SuperZambezi's favorite character. Some people may say that he's just a clone of Koopa Troopa, but he isn't actually. He just a DEAD version of a Koopa Troopa with such a hilarious voice. He is really good in terms of mini turbo and great acceleration stats. Unlike Koopa Troopa, Dry Bones somehow regenerates himself after being jumped on by the Mario Bros., making him considered as an "indestructible" enemy in the Mario franchise.

Up next we have the adopted mother of the Lumas who watches over the cosmos, Rosalina. Rosalina is very popular in the series for her appearance in SMG, which is one of the methods to unlock her. She is one interesting character, and is rather humble. Her appearance is quite graceful, with long, light tan hair that sometimes covers her eyes, and a seemingly silk dress. Her voice is rather, well, deep. Her stats are also great, boosting speed, handling, and miniturbo, meaning she's especially good on karts and high drift bikes.
Rosalina appears to be a good character that first appeared in Super Mario Galaxy. There are two ways instead of one to unlock her unlike any other unlockable character in Mario Kart Wii; the other method is that the game Super Mario Galaxy would be required to unlock her. Her stats are pretty decent by the looks of her speed, mini-turbo and handling. I have nothing to say about the negatives and her voice is deep for some reason. And why's Luma with her during races?

The last of the clones, and also another one of our split opinions. Dry Bowser doesn't stick out to me for the reason of being a clone. That spot could've gotten to more interesting characters, like Petey Piranha. For a skeletal representation of the recurring villain in the series, Dry Bowser is rather bland in my eyes. There isn't anything that makes him stick out from the rest of the characters in the series, as far as I am concerned.
Dry Bowser is the greatest clone I've seen in Mario Kart Wii than any other. Petey Piranha would've got that spot as a heavy character, considering he's a kart in this game. I don't care about the ups and downs of his stats, because I select tracks that drivers don't go off-course. Right now, he's seen as an 'extra' boss in games like New Super Mario Bros. 2. When he was first spotted in New Super Mario Bros.; unlike Bowser who just breathes flames, he throws bones too as the skeletal koopa king!

Next on the list we have the sly, cunning trickster, Waluigi. Being Wario's partner who is downright hilarious in the Mario Tennis and the Mario Golf series, it's no wonder he's placed this high. Also Waluigi has great acceleration, drifting, and offroad, meaning he can take tight turns more easily, especially if you're concerned about Sherbet Land being picked a lot. Waluigi has been a case of like-hate, where the haters lash out at his uncreativity, while those that like him like his amount of humor and entertainment.
Waluigi appears to be Luigi's famous rival since Mario Tennis 64. Due to his high stats as a 'large' character, he can be better than anyone in Mario Kart Wii! Almost... He calls the others "cheaters" when they throw an item at him while in a match, because it can cause chaos to his chances of winning. People should say that he's perfect for messing up their rivals, perhaps they should call it the "Mario Kart Wii Comedy Show {YEAR}". That's why he looks like Dick Dastardly in cartoons.

One contender for the upper half of the characters, we have the king of the Boos, King Boo. He isn't as impressive as his appearances in the Luigi's Mansion series, but he still stands out from some other characters in the series. His high handling and offroad make him the best heavyweight in battles. Also, he has nice colors on his vehicles.
The king of all Boos is back! King Boo debuted in Luigi's Mansion, the first Mario game for the Nintendo GameCube and his role was not enough in his first two appearances, until Mario Kart Double Dash where it became more interesting with Petey Piranha. His stats due to his weight, handling and offroad perfect for battles. He is the only character in the game to have black vehicles.

King Boo: "Graaaahhhh! You say all of that good stuff about me and I still only get 11th, Behind Luigi!? I'm telling you, I am the best; You haven't seen the last of me! Muhahahaha!"

Disclaimer: The above statement doesn't represent my actual opinion at all, although King Boo is my favorite Large character; I can't get enough of him and wanted to joke about his Booheemoth-sized ego. I bet Waluigi has a similar opinion, seeing the competition.

Jinx, I think you have something to do with this during the planning... My opinion was that King Boo is better than Luigi, to be honest. :p

This is it. What you've been waiting for weeks now. First off, I'd like thank you all for sticking with us through this massive undertaking. Also, I'd like to thank Blue Toad for allowing me to do such a collab. Counting 14 characters is no small feat, but now, it's really on. This is the Top 10, the best of the best. These characters truly embody what MKW is all about. And this silver celebration doesn't have to end here. If you have your own opinions, which I'm sure you do, feel free to comment. And if there's something else about Mario Kart that you want to count down, feel free to do that too. But for now, sit back, get comfy, and LET'S FINISH THIS FIGHT!

King Boo is way better than Luigi.
You made the banner so your choice should go through higher.

Landing at #10 we have the main character of the series, Mario. Mario is a popular choice in fun rooms. He is pretty much mandatory for the series to continue. Despite his personality being that of a rock, he still is one likable character. Mario's stats are well balanced, offering weight, acceleration, handling, and drift. He doesn't shine in one particular department, but he still is one character that we all like.
Mario is main character of the game and the main character of the entire franchise. Despite having our sites named after him, he's always an all-around character. Characters like him who have an all-around stats always get a 75% out of a possible 100% in the best characters in Mario Kart Wii, and Mario is one of them who has reached that mark. But it's all the other characters ahead of him who have better skills than him as we continue to move on with the list.

I know what you are thinking. "It's about time Yoshi got on this list!" Being a very popular character, it's no surprise everyone's hyped him so much. In fact, he's so popular, that some people hate him for how overrated he might be. Yoshi is a friendly, cute, carefree dinosaur who never gives up, no matter what is thrown at him. His stats are relatively decent, boosting weight, drift, and offroad. No wonder the most used vehicle for him, besides Mach Bikes, are Dolphin Dashers!
Now I know what y'all going to ask next; "Where's Yoshi?!" He is a fan favorite character, mostly in the Mario Party series. But not everyone cares, some people hate him in that case due to being overrated sometimes. His appearance is friendly, and cute by the way by the sounds of his latest voice. His stats shows that he is perfect for bikes. "And why is he better than Mario?" you will ask; Before I stayed away from getting overrated with him, I bought myself a Yoshi plush. Surely that Yoshiman222 would get this! :p

Next in the list, we have DK's highly energetic, lively, optimistic monkey partner, Diddy. Diddy has always been one of my favorite Mario characters in the series, and this game is no exception. To add to his already great characteristics, Diddy has amazing stats for a middleweight with no speed boosts, boosting acceleration, drift, and miniturbo. With his awesome characteristics and incredible stats, Diddy is one great middleweight.
Diddy Kong is my final character in Mario Kart Wii to get a mixed review from me. Diddy Kong has been DK's partner in many Donkey Kong adventures and many Mario sports games. However, this is not completely a mixed review, due to his stats, it looks like that he is better than any other medium characters in Mario Kart Wii, except Luigi. The negative, his voice may be annoying sometimes, but I wouldn't worry about that!
