Banana Fairies

Banana Fairies are little fairies that got scattered from Banana Fairy Island all around DK Isles. There are two in each world, while there are four in DK Isles, adding up to 20 Banana Fairies to catch with your Banana Camera. Catching them were easy or hard, depending how quick they are or your reflexes. Getting all 20 rewards you with the game's final Golden Banana, the Rareware Banana.

These were a nice addition to the game, increasing your inventory count for Crystal Coconuts and Banana Film. Not only that, but they also reward you with stuff in the Mystery Menu in the Main Menu. However, once you are rewarded, you got them permanently.

Haha the banana fairies! Sometimes I would get annoyed by some of them! Most of them were easy actually. I also liked the power-up they give you, that color wave or whatever it is.

AND THAT BANANA WAS HUGE!! <3

That was called the shock wave attack. I find that attack very useful, even though it costs a Crystal Coconut to use it. It can defeat almost any enemy.

Banana Fairies were also helpful that they restore your inventory, so you should look out for them if you haven't yet in a world, so that you can get beefed up again.

I always wondered what the big door in the Fairy Isle lead to.  Too bad it was just a HUGE banana inside.  I was somewhat expecting a level or something.  Ah well.

Ugh. Trying to catch these guys on film was frustrating. The camera moves wicked slowly and the snap function takes like 2 seconds to activate.

I always wondered what the big door in the Fairy Isle lead to.  Too bad it was just a HUGE banana inside.  I was somewhat expecting a level or something.  Ah well.

The island of the Banana Fairy doesn't seem large enough (seen from outside) to hold a secret level or something to that extent.

Remember that Tiny Kong was small, so everything seemed bigger inside.

Yeah, because you had to be minimized to enter, as the entrance was smaller than Tiny Kong.
