About the modding board

It's a little confusing, with the way it's worded. The title and description implies that it's for modding Mario Party games only, but it's actually for modding anything. I didn't know that for a while(Until Bowser498 and Nintega Dario posted topics nothing related to MP modding).

I propose this; Make a sub board(or child board) called something like "General Modding" and move anything that doesn't relate to Mario Party modding there, or reword the title and description so it's not so misleading.

Agreed. MKWii CTGP, Newer, and Project M are all very popular. I say reword it to "General Nintendo Hacking".

Yes, but it doesn't mean we can't discuss any other gaming stuff. That's why we have the General gaming forum.

I think the purpose of this section is for "Mario Party" mods in particular, since there's been so little of it throughout the years unlike the other games that you all would rather post about those instead.

Meaning we should try to stick closer to that than anything else. Though I guess since there's so little of it that's why people choose to post more general Mario/Nintendo games.

Still saying I'd like to start seeing modded boards, items, and minigames, and not just models and texture edits only.

Basically this. I want to give Mario Party the spotlight and give it its own dedicated board because there is so little development on the series in terms of hacking. To be honest, I don't mind if other modding topics are posted or even take up the majority of the topics. I just want this to be known as the place where you'll find MP topics, if people who are interested/have something to show ever see it.

I think right now there aren't enough topics to warrant another child board.
