1 vs. 3 minigames! Tell what you like/hate about them

I like the fact that they can be unique, because most other mini-game types, such as 2 vs 2 or duels could work as 4 players with slight modifications, but you can't with most 1 vs 3.

I don't like how sometimes they provide an unfair advantage, like for example the one player must drop bob-ombs while the three players avoids them, if the three players are skilled enough, then the one player will lose no matter what.

1v3s provide a good contrast to 2v2s and 4P mini-games.

Some are rather biased, such as Track Star, others like that 1v3 in MP6 with the Pachinko/Pinball like table are more balanced. I prefer balanced types. =P

I didn't really like the coin stealing of MP1 in 1v3s either (not applicable for the minigame with the hammer and nine coin blocks).

They're cool. They're as good as 2 vs 2 and 4 player ones...

Pretty much this too.

Other than some mini-games being a little unfair to the player alone; 1 vs. 3 Mini-Games are pretty cool.

1 vs 3 mini-games aren't bad. I just hate mini-games where it's practically impossible for the 1 player to win(like Tidal Toss) or the 3 players to win(like Ray of Fright) as well as some coin mini-games like Cash Flow or River Raiders(I think that's what it's called)

You guys ever sabotage your team because you wouldn't want to lose the lead (or make sure opponent next to star doesn't get over 20 coins)?

I never have purposely sabotaged my team, but the thought came to me just now (though I don't think I was ever in a situation where I had to either).

Yeah I sabotage my teams on those kinds of occasions. I'm usually aware of the scenarios so when the minigame teams come I know what to do. It's only tough if it's a coin free-for-all game or I just need coins badly.

I sometimes do it if one of the CPU's is going to get more than 20 coins if they win and they're near the star. and by the way, how could you lose the lead of your team wins? ???

Well, cause the next turn the CPU would get the star :p My parenthesis after was just to clarify what I was talking about.
