Clockwork Castle (Mario Party 6)
« on: January 15, 2011, 12:03:15 AM »
The very unique board from MP6 where Bowser and DK alternated moving around the board during day and night and stuff.

This wasn't my favorite board by any means but it was alright, a decent idea.

Ah, I enjoyed this board, chasing DK for Star.

But yeah, getting away from Bowser at night is a pain. There were not even any DK or Bowser Spaces, either.

An interesting idea, but this was one of those boards that I wished had the option of a classic 20 coins per star mode.

Only thing I hated about this board was the pipes. Some of them worked against your plans >_>

The bonuses from Brighton and Twila are hard to land on, but I suppose they're worth it... kinda. =P

How the hell does Bowser breathing fire give him (3?) dice blocks? Shouldn't he eat a TNT Drumstick or sth? =P Owait, wrong chronology.

Marth is not amused.

I liked this board but it annoyed me that even though the star moves once one person touches the star it still goes to a random spot.

I liked this board as well. One of my favs on that game.
It was awesome to stop by Brighton/Twila's pad to get a prize!

lol butBowser only got 2 when breathing fire, same with DK and the banana.

And I just played this board today and it's pretty badass now that I just played it. I like the strategy involved, though it sucks ass when Bowser takes a star from you and lands one space ahead of you and you have no choice but to lose another star. :P

And I realized there weren't any Bowser nor DK spaces on the board, which makes sense.

I enjoyed this board, it wasn't the best one to play on, but it was cool. I really like how this board was different from the others.

It was a good idea for a board but I didn't enjoy it as much as the other boards.

the best board in Mario Party 6!  A unique concept that involed some strategy to get stars and avoid Bowser

It wasn't my favorite board, but it was decent. This board reminds me somewhat of Castaway Bay. The orbs here weren't too bad. Also, I believe this is the only board in the game with the Thwomp orb and the Metal Mushroom orb. I've always wanted to see what the animation looked like when you pass the thwomp space with the metal mushroom orb in effect when I was younger. The animation isn't really anything special. When I visit Twila or Brighton, I usually got the chest with coins... I hated when it was nightime and Bowser was right in front of me.

A good board, though still can't beat E Gadd's Garage.
