"Board cannot be overwritten currently"
« on: February 03, 2017, 11:05:27 PM »
I'm currently trying to import some of the boards from the custom boards download tab, but on the ROM I'm working with, I'm only able to overwrite DK's Jungle Adventure. All the other boards display "Board cannot be overwritten currently" for all the different custom board files I use. I assume there is a limit to spaces or specific types of spaces necessary to map a custom board onto a board on the ROM. How can I overwrite the other boards in the game, or where can I find the limitations of each board that would allow me to map custom boards onto them?

As of right now the first board is the only one able to be wrote over, but they're working on getting that functionality to all the boards. It's just a matter of time.

Thank you for the info. I wasn't aware.

EDIT: Are there additional limitations to MP2 and MP3? Where can I find this documented?

If you go schoomzing around this forum's posts you'll find a lot of discussions around the limitations;
the main one right now being the gate's functionality is only limited to MP3.
