I've been playing some more CTGP and I love that they've been adding more 3DS tracks. Does anyone know why they won't use the actual names for the 3DS ones? They do for all the other retro tracks.

I don't think it is. Bowser's Castle was called something else I think?

Name changes:

US - EU
Cheep Cheep Lagoon - Cheep Cheep Cape
Wuhu Loop - Wuhu Island Loop
Music Park - Melody Motorway
Rock Rock Mountain - Alpine Pass
Piranha Plant Slide - Piranha Plant Pipeway
Wario Shipyard - Wario's Galleon
Neo Bowser City - Koopa City
Make Wuhu -  Wuhu Mountain Loop

The rest are the same so i dont think its because of that :ssb4pacman:

Not only that but there's a contest to get a Wii. If you beat at least 20 Expert Staff Ghosts, you can participate!
And since we can upload our ghosts in a server, I had the idea to share our ghosts here, can we?

I've been doing these a lot too! The expert staff ghosts are really hard, though. I only have 1 (Mario Circuit).

I'm not sure; I've never had a crash because of that.

... I did not expect to bring Mario Kart Wii to this place.
Jokes aside, I see that people are still enjoying some Mario Kart Wii and CTGP-R here. Now let's see how long it takes until my custom track gets removed out of the pack. :P
As for the different 3DS track names, it is - indeed - to prevent copyright shenanigans from Nintendo. Even if at least half of them in the pack of now aren't even actual ports from Mario Kart 7, it's still the best to not let Nintendo pay attention to it.
As for staff ghosts in Time Trials, I wonder how many people have beaten my staff ghosts here. Mine is CTGP*Wing. Hopefully they weren't so hard (compared to some other staff ghosts :what: ).

Also, this is an attempt of bumping the topic to make it somewhat more active, out of curiosity. If no one responds, then I see where this is going. :-D
