I never played or seen Banjo-kazooe but this seems pretty cool....I guess......I hope.....I think?
Neither have I, but everyone I know who has played it, loves the game.

Here is an interview with Playtonic from the Guardian.
It talks about Rare, minor Project Ukulele characters getting their own games, etc.

Also, that concept art from the EDGE issue, I found a single version of the concept world.

All they said this time was:
"Burly Minion grasps Monday with both hands and attacks the week. No negative sentiment, just optimism. Also, SMASH."

I've never been a fan of adventure games. I mean, I've played Borderlands 2 for about 2 hours, played GTA single player for a few hours,  played Super Mario 64 but got bored of it pretty fast. I've played Obilivion, got bored of that. Played Morrowind, gave up in 10 minutes... The only games that I've really beaten that are adventure are the Spyro games.

This looks pretty good though. I'm interested to see the reception of the game once it comes out.

As for the kickstarter, that'll get funded, easily.

The Kickstarter starts May 1, they'll also give the characters a full reveal then.

Keith the Minion got an in-engine animation shown.
Here is where you can watch it:

Here is a screenshot from the short video:

Personally, I think he looked better in the concept art.

A website called Cubed3 had an interview with Mark Stevenson about Project Ukulele, Playtonic, Rare, etc.
He hinted even more about a Wii U release.
You can read it here: Mark Stevenson Interview

Based on what I read of that it wasn't really a hint - it's more like a goal or something. :P

I'd expect a Wii U version to be one of the first goals (base goals is what they call them?) on the Kickstarter.
I hope it gets a retail release.
I'm not a huge fan lf buying non-VC digital games.

Kickstarter begins then, and the main characters are revealed.

I prolly won't fund the Kickstarter, unless they've got some really good rewards as well as goals.

Also, I found more concept art!

This was from the EGX Rezzed presentation, but no one ever really payed attention to it.
The reason I posted it, is while four of those characters art is from the EDGE issue, that one with the sword isn't.
I really wonder what they'll do with the sword-wielding guy.

You're interested in the game?
Great to hear!
The more fans the better.
I'll post everything there was here, so you'll know everything when you get back.
Enjoy whatever you are doing.
