There's a rumor going around that Target has officially discontinued amiibo figures for Fox McCloud and Samus, the next ones to join Marth, Villager, and Wii Fit Trainer. If you're hoping to get all of the costumes in Mario Kart 8, then you better act now, or else it is too late.

So can anyone else think of good uses for amiibo? All I can think of is a CPU fighter like Smash Bros., content unlocks like Mario Kart, maybe a digital passport for moving game stats from one console to another, and storage, for example, a small Pokemon Box in each amiibo.
No more sig.... awwwww....

Toad will be compatible with Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

More Super Smash Bros. figures are confirmed. You will be able to find Wario, Ness, Charizard, Lucina, Robin, and Pac-Man in April 2015. Wario, Rosalina, Donkey Kong, and Bowser figures will also be compatible with Mario Party 10.
