Anyone going to buy these? If so, which one? Or both?

Glad to see these coming this holiday. I am in need of an additional Wii Remote Plus (mainly for Nintendo Land), so I may be lucky if I get one of these for Christmas.

Most likely not...

It depends on how much money I have left over from buying 3D World and Sochi.

I'd probably get one of these. Most likely the Luigi Wii Remote because I like Luigi just a little bit more than Mario. Of course both would be great for the holidays.

I'd just buy the Luigi Remote just because it's a Luigi Remote.
...and I guess I need 1 more Wii Remote Plus before I have enough to play 4 players with those. :P

I have 2 remotes, I'll just get the blue one bundled with M&S @ Sochi 2014, it's $30 dollars less.
A third Wii Remote would be nice, the one I normally use malfunctions a lot whne I use the nunchuck.

I'm debating on getting both, depends on if I have the funds.

EDITS: Yep ordered both online, going to end up with four remotes with wii motion plus's inside now with the black one included with Wii Party U, now to just get a matching nunchuk for the black remote, and three Pro controllers, and 4 classic controller pros...

So many remotes X.X

Can I just say that these look really ugly? It's obvious that these are the colors for Mario and Luigi, but they just don't work. :P

At least these aren't the only choices. There's a black one that comes with Wii Party U or Sky Blue one that comes with Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games. If I had to choose one of the bundles over these Mario and Luigi Remotes, I'd choose the Mario & Sonic one.

I've been thinking that if I'm going to get this (Luigi Remote) - best thing to probably do is to put it on a list of things I'd like for Christmas and my birthday.

Something to let my family know what to get this time this year.

Wasn't there a topic earlier saying Nintendo stopped producing Wii. I know that the Wii remote works on the Wii U but still, it seems like a waste of money even for collectivity sake.

Yes, there was. But Wii production has stopped in Japan and Europe (I think Australia too), but not in North America. I think North America will stop production after the holidays, in 2014.

Nintendo has announced that the Princess Peach Wii Remote Plus will be joining with Mario and Luigi Wii Remote Plus.

Quote from: Press Release
Nintendo hereby announces a new Wii Remote Plus controller styled in the royal fashion of Princess Peach. The pink controller features many touches that pay homage to the Mushroom Kingdom's most powerful heroine, who recently starred in the Super Mario 3D World game for the Wii U console. The new controller includes a crown design over the speaker, blue buttons that echo Peach's royal jewelry and a golden-yellow plus pad that evokes her regal crown.

The new Peach Pink Wii Remote Plus will start appearing in stores in late April at a suggested retail price of $39.99. It joins other controllers themed to Nintendo characters, including the red Mario and green Luigi controllers. Wii Remote Plus includes Wii MotionPlus technology, and works with all Wii and Wii U games that call for Wii Remote controllers. Fans of Mario Kart 8 might want to pick up the new remote to control Peach when the game launches May 30.
